A Review of this Week
6/5/17–6/11/17
You could say this week was a “landmark” week for me. Here’s what happened.
Work
Apptical
Apptical was good, busy as usual. No problems, although I did get a call from a supervisor about something I did on a call that’s not exactly an infraction, but something I shouldn’t have done. It was just a friendly call, not a warning or write-up or anything like that. I put in a request for the first Monday in July off, which unfortunately didn’t get approved.
Lionbridge
Did a little work with Lionbridge this week, but only about an hour and a half though. I need to start doing more, but that could be difficult with some stuff coming up that I’ll mention in a bit.
Writing
Wrote one article for Wordgigs. Tried to write two, but the editor didn’t like the way the second one was written, so she sent it back to me. I unfortunately didn’t have time to edit it though.
House
It is official!! Kevin and I closed on our house on Friday. We don’t have the keys yet unfortunately because the realtor couldn’t get the papers recorded in time, but we’ll get them this week. We’ve started buying some of the things we’ll need, like blinds, a washer and dryer and refrigerator. I’ll be publishing a more detailed review of the experience tomorrow.
Health
Finished my last week of Pure Gamma on Friday. Tomorrow I will start the Pure Strength hybrid, I’ll be sure to let you all know how that goes. I gained three pounds this week, which doesn’t surprise me considering how I ate this week.
