What I Accomplished this Week
Even though the Entrepreneur’s Handbook’s 90-Day Challenge is over, I don’t want to lose my momentum. I plan to keep writing and doing things to advance my business. This week, even though I had a short week (as you’re reading this, I’m up in Michigan enjoying Labor Day weekend with my husband’s family) I still accomplished a few things.
I installed Google Re-Captcha on two of my websites.
I’ve started having a little bit of a problem with spam comments on one of my websites, My eBook Journey — probably because I haven’t updated it in a while. So I decided to install an “I am not a robot” checkbox on my comment form on that site, and I also did it for my Work at Home Tips Online website, even though I don’t have a problem with spam comments on that website yet.
I improved the load speed of one of my websites by deactivating some of the plugins I wasn’t using.
My eBook Journey loads very slowly. So I decided to try to improve how quickly it loads by deactivating some of the plugins I wasn’t using and didn’t need to have running on there.
I posted a brainstorming project for blog post topic ideas for My eBook Journey.
I haven’t posted on this website in quite some time, so I decided to post a brainstorming project on one of my favorite websites, MyBlogU, to get some ideas for posts I could write. I did come up with one idea, which I posted to MyBlogU as an interview request.
I worked on the freebie I want to offer on my business website.
I had posted the freebie to a few groups to get some more feedback, and I took the ideas I got and incorporated them the document.
Next week, I hope to accomplish the following:
- Take some of the brainstorming ideas I get and start turning them into blog posts for My eBook Journey.
- Get back to writing on a regular basis so I can accomplish my goal of writing at least $12.50 a week (for right now anyway).
- Finish making changes to the freebie I want to offer on my business website.
- Get my Aweber account activated again so I can start offering the freebie on my website.
