One of the most important things anyone can have when they’re trying to achieve a goal is the belief that they can do it. Without that, you’re open to other people’s opinions of whether or not they think you can achieve the goal. In addition, as the above quote says, when you really believe something can be done, your mind will find ways to do it.
For example, as I’ve been writing different types of stories for Medium as part of Shaunta Grimes’ challenge, I’ve been looking for ways to find the time to write them. I’ve also started looking for ways to come up with ideas for what to write. Because I’m still pretty new to Medium, this has been a bit of an experiment for me, trying to figure out what kind of articles and stories people will respond to best, but I have to say I’m pleased with the results so far.
Some of my ideas have come from things I’ve read, and I’ve even published a few things that I’ve written that were previously unpublished. These include a series of Conversations with Myself I published last week. I’ve also turned that into a Medium series now, for anyone who’s interested.
